 “Were you having dinner?”

“No. I was just about to, but you came home, so I went straight to the entrance to greet you.”

She would drop everything and rush to the door the moment I arrived home. She was living her dream of a normal life and seemed genuinely happy.

“Let’s just order dinner simply and watch TV together today.”

“If that’s what you wish”

Usually, if a husband changed the menu arbitrarily, a wife might get upset. But Jungyeon, who saw her husband’s words as law, agreed without objection.

“Then, please tell me if there’s anything you’d like to eat.”

“I’m fine, so order whatever my wife wants to eat.”

“To me, my wife looks prettier than those idols there.”

She smiled happily, as she was pleased with my words. She then linked her arm with mine.

It felt like a newlywed couple enjoying a simple life. It was a modest dream, yet it perfectly suited Jungyeon.

I was trying to act like an ordinary husband, just as she wanted.

I casually wrapped my arm around Jungyeon’s waist, pretending to be affectionate.

She didn’t seem to dislike it. Instead, she gave me a seductive smile and adjusted her posture to make it easier.

She smiled happily, as she was pleased by my compliment.

Jungyeon was lost in the moment. Her face flushed as she kissed me.

 “Okay.”

 “Then, I’ll order soon and start making the stew.”

“Okay”

She was humming happily as she prepared the stew. She was skillfully handling the ingredients.

 “Do you know how nice you look when you’re cooking?”

“I don’t know.” 

She was preparing the ingredients slowly on purpose. She was looking quite cute doing so.
