The Yeonhee date arc is continued.

Here is sneek peek of the work.

When I asked Yeonhee what kind of reward she wanted, she blushed slightly before answering.

“Then… I would like to go on a date for a day…”

“A date? Is that all?”

“Yes.”

Yeonhee had always been busy, so unlike the others, she had not gone on many proper dates. Perhaps feeling a little envious, she shyly confessed that she wanted to go on one this time. I nodded in agreement.

“Then, shall we go on a date tomorrow?”

“Yes, that would be great.”

She looked delighted when I set the date right away. A soft smile appeared on her lips. She usually kept a stern expression in front of others, so seeing her genuinely happy made me smile as well. And just like that, I ended up having a date with Yeonhee the next day.

The next day arrived, and since Yeonhee had already planned the date, I simply decided to follow along with what she prepared.

It wasn’t just a sudden whim for her. She had been thinking about this date for quite some time. After listening to her explain the plan, I headed to the first destination and waited.

‘An aquarium… It’s been a while.’

I had visited with Yeonhee a few times before, but it wasn’t somewhere we went often. Choosing a quiet and calm place like this was exactly like her.

After waiting for a while, I spotted Yeonhee approaching. Even from afar, her neat and graceful appearance stood out and immediately drew the eyes of the men around us. My heart skipped when I saw her walking toward me.

 “Did you wait long?”

“No, I just got here too.”

We exchanged words like a couple in the early stages of dating, and the men around us couldn’t help but glance at us with jealousy.

“It won’t be crowded if we go now, so let’s hurry.”

“Okay.”

Unlike Yeonji, who often acted on impulse, Yeonhee was methodical and precise, so her tone carried a slightly businesslike edge.

“Today, I’m your lover. So you have to listen to me.”

“Yes”

With that, we made our way to the aquarium in the gentle atmosphere of an ordinary date. Just as Yeonhee predicted, the place was quiet with hardly any people.

The tanks were filled with colorful fish swimming about, and our time together felt simple and normal. Yeonhee, however, seemed completely absorbed. Her eyes were lighting up as she gazed at the fish with fascination.

“It’s my first time at an aquarium… it’s amazing.”

“Really? You’ve never been here when you were little?”

“No… I just thought it was a place where fish swam around, so I wasn’t very interested.”

“Then why did you suddenly want to come to the aquarium?”

“That’s…”

Yeonhee usually approached things rationally and logically, and she had never been one to care much about something like watching fish in tanks. That was why I found it a little surprising when she suggested this place.

Still, I followed her without question, simply because she wanted to go. And seeing her enjoy it so much now made me feel unexpectedly happy.

She had carried her own burdens for a long time, and because of that, she had always been more closed off than others.

Our relationship had opened Yeonhee up little by little, and she had started showing interest in many new things.

It was a good change. Since she seemed satisfied with it herself, I could only see it as something positive.

“And… I wanted to have more diverse experiences, so I wanted to come to the aquarium with you, Joohyun.”

“I see… I also like doing different things with you, Yeonhee.”

“Thank you.”

“Today, I wanted to look at the fish at the aquarium.”

“Other things?”

Her face softened into a smile. That expression alone told me she had something else planned.

“This way”

Yeonhee took my hand and led me forward. She brought me to a section that displayed only deep-sea fish, away from the regular viewing areas.

Unlike the bright tanks earlier, this place was cloaked in darkness. The dimness made the atmosphere completely different. Since the deep-sea fish moved freely in the shadows, the lighting was minimal, and we had to follow the glowing path marked on the floor. It was so dark that even seeing each other’s faces clearly was difficult.

Enjoy!!
