practice sketches!
Added 2024-06-17 01:09:24 +0000 UTCWith EFNW around the corner, I decided to start practicing my traditional sketching a bit more on actual paper!
These are a bit larger than what I plan to sell -- I ordered a stack of 5x7 cardstock for my "mini sketch" commissions, and I did these practice runs on pieces of letter-size cardstock cut in half (so closer to 6 1/2 x8 1/2).
Anyway, I had a good time with these! Yes, I realize it probably seems silly to practice with Sonic characters when I'm gonna be drawing almost nothing but ponies at Everfree...I like to think of this as me training with weighted clothing LOL. Once I shift to ponies, those are pretty cookie-cutter so they'll be a lot breezier to do on the fly.
