it was not meant to imply that Ukrainians fighting an invading force were doing anything wrong, that’s insane. it was meant that the US used it as a proxy war partner as we have with other nations before dumping them to their fate many times in the past.

It should have been obvious from how quickly people started making molotov cocktails at the start of the invasion that Ukrainians were always going to resist to the bitter end. Because who the the fuck wants to be force-russed? Western aid just meant the war could be over more quickly. Now Trump is doing his best Neville to appease Putler and ensure Europe won't have a calm future. And you still wonder why we'd need hardware.

I believe the country has become extremely polarized, but I feel we can start to find common ground and recenter ourselves without a significant divide between different sides.
