Bill is a weird mix of independent and emotionally clingy. But why would such a sweet kid be left behind, you ask?
It may have something to do with his “Disassociative Rage Disorder.” Bill’s DRD—a result of some mysterious past trauma—can suddenly arise when he’s embarrassed, mocked, humiliated, overly excited, sad, scared, or hungry, and causes him to enter a fugue, John Wickesque state of violent, blind rage.

Some concept sketches of Detective Tim, Orphan Bill and the nuns! After the events of the pilot, Tim and Bill run their “Discount Detectives” business out of the old Catholic Orphanage that Orphan Bill lives in. The nuns tolerate it, but just barely.

Check out an exclusive first look at our first adult animated series, “The Boys of Boxtown”!
The Boys of Boxtown is an animated noir buddy comedy about a washed up detective who teams up with an 8-year-old boy to fight crime in the mean streets of Boxtown, a neon-noir mega city. The show is an ambitious blend of CG environments and 2D characters.
