we're also announcing that our next patron-exclusive episode will be all about Dune. in the wake of the new film, we've received some questions about Dune and the politics of the series since much of it is based on feudal systems we've discussed on the show, especially the Holy Roman Empire. so, Luke is going to be taking the lead on the episode and talking about how aspects of the Dune universe compare to our own. don't worry tho, Eleanor will be there to correct Luke's myriad of historically inaccurate statements.

so we wanted to announce that the next episode is about Dune and put out the call for specific questions about the movie, the books, etc. they can be tangentially related to our real world politics or just general questions about the series, it's your choice. we're excited to be doing an episode about Dune and we know you'll love it!
