Brony Debates - Character Representation Criteria (ft. DJ, Cordero & Calbeck)

The idea that a story must have a diverse set of characters from groups that may be under-represented has become increasingly popular in recent years. I tend to disagree myself. But perhaps I'm wrong? If so, we'll find out tonight.
