A couple setbacks

I just wanted to post an apology for the lack of content here and to explain what's going on. A while back after a Windows 11 update my PC's registry was nuked, so I had to reinstall Windows, I thought I had enough data backed up to continue using Krita where I left off, but I lost everything except for my art project files. I've been slowly building up a bunch of custom made pencils and brushes and stuff and after reinstalling Windows, they're all gone, so I've been trying to recreate them o...

Sorry for the delay!

I just wanted to apologize for the delay. Turns out I had a bacteria infection, took me longer than I expected to recover.

In good news though, I'm feeling much better now and I have the next page of the comic mostly sketched out! Not entirely happy with it yet, so I'll keep working on it a bit more before I ink it. I'm very excited to finally be feeling better and drawing again!

I just wanted to apologize for not getting a comic page out last week. I've been sick for a few days and I decided to just take it easy. I'm starting to feel better, so I'm sure I can finish the next page within a few days.

Page 1 of the comic I'm working on is inked! I don't want to give away the story but I'll reveal that the title of the comic is a subtle hint

I'll begin working on page 2 tomorrow, once the entire comic is inked I might work on shading/coloring depending on reception

Update on upcoming comic and inquiry

So I'm almost done inking the first page of the upcoming comic, progress has been a bit slower than I anticipated, but I'm happy with the quality. Page 1 should either be finished tomorrow or Friday.

With that being said, should I upload pages here as I finish inking them, or should I wait until the entire comic is inked and upload it as one full thing?

Minor heads up (incoming comic)

So just wanted to explain that my next project is a comic, and I'd like to upload the sketch here in its entirety rather than one page at a time, so it might be a week or so before I upload anything. Hope this is understandable! o3o

Been working on the shading for this pic. Experimenting with my art process by shading before I color, also trying out a few other experimental techniques. I'm pretty confident I can finish the shading tomorrow

I wasn't sure if I should be uploading half-finished steps, like the partial shading here, but I figure it doesn't hurt anybody and some people might be interested in seeing how things are coming along

Upcoming pic for Nincadalop

Need to fix some stuff and adjust some things based on feedback, but the sketch is pretty much done. I'll fix those and get started on the ink tomorrow

Regarding the Nincadalop pic

Small update, the flat color is going to be the final version, instead of shading it, we decided it would be more interesting to draw a full pic with her character, so that's what I'll begin working on next o3o

Also, I'm going to try and dedicate a day each week to just doing sketches and doodles, I haven't decided when (probably mondays?) but just expect to see more random rough art uploads in addition to the normal stuff

Colored this pic! Never done a raccoon before so I know it's a little rough, but I'm pretty happy with it.
