Hello patron!
A new character was born this weekend.
I'm sharing this character's design, rough and PSD here.

The last time Red Girl started out with little visual priority and character setting, so the plan this time is to create some character setting as a character and start from there.

I'll write notes in writing letters like this. I don't use a text editor too much. It's a vestige of notepad and paper work, and I like to write letters on a blank paper. Nowadays, there are plenty of cleverer ways to do this, like handwriting conversion on the iPad.
When I design characters as a job, I'm often ordered by professionals in that field (scenario and game design), so I don't often create the fundamental parts of the characters myself. At the very least, I have information about the character's personality, age, height (big or small), cultural background, worldview and camps, attributes, etc., ready to go, and I'll get the information I need from the client in a preliminary hearing. The original character has to do all of this for me (obviously).

It's preferable to have as much detail as possible, but once I have an outline of the character softly in my mind, I'll put it into the drawing. As I'm drawing, more ideas come to mind.
The key to this design is.
-Translucent oversized jacket
-Modern to futuristic (Sci-fi) atmosphere (not fantasy-oriented)
-The shoes are based on my own shoes (Air Jordan WHY NOT ZERO 2.0).
-It's nice to get a girl to wear larger sneakers...
-This is an arrangement of the X mark that was also on the red child. This is not a plaid pattern, but a symbol.
-Invention of the new garter belt.
-(On actual requests, we receive orders to reduce the length of the hair because it would be a hassle to use it as a Live2D or game character.
-The headdress is not an ear but an accessory.
-Magic world dried flower-like.

With the back and jacket design, I started to feel the excitement of the character design, then I made the expression pattern which I didn't make last time. It's a good process to do in the middle of the design process because it allows me to organize the head, face parts, and hairstyle. It's often the last design work for your work, though.
There is currently a gap between the pixiv fanbox and the number of content posted, but we plan to replenish it periodically in the future.
Have a great time!
