Hello from the UK! Question can be answered by any. What do you think about the question of game difficulty? Should games like Dark souls/Elden ring have difficulty options, or should it just be a case of "let the developer chose to put it in"

I think new Sony games are trying to be too cinematic. I feel like they are taking away the freedom and control of the player and moving away from being a game. I feel like the producers were focusing more on the cinematic aspects than the game mechanics and preventing the games from reaching their potential. There is a cutscene every 30 seconds, the main character constantly tells me what I need to do etc. what u think about that? maybe i miss old sony games like ico or ape escape :(
