A Buck to the Face - Celestial Advice
Added 2017-05-29 18:13:15 +0000 UTCI've been down and out for too long and everything else I've tried clearly hasn't worked. So let today be the start of when I try something different. Only time will tell if it will work or backfire horribly. Even though history has already set the precedence.
What was shocking to me about this episode was all the build-up of taking the next step with Starlight's graduation only to not do anything with it. It was an interesting fake-out and I'm left curious as to where they'll go with it.
What was even more shocking to me was the implication between Celestia's mannerisms that are typical when someone first starts teaching someone one-on-one like she had. I find it difficult to believe that she wasn't more at peace with the path she was sending Twilight on. She's old enough to have had the experience many times. There's no way she could have opened and ran a school without that experience. Not to mention the existence of Sunset Shimmer.
Unless there's something I'm missing.
