Added 2024-04-19 18:32:38 +0000 UTCWelcome, welcome! Thanks for coming. I don’t really have a lot to say, but maybe I’ll share a little of my motivations as a fanfiction author.
There’s a certain satisfaction you get from reading fanfiction, solving various plot lines in different and better ways, or leaving characters scratching their heads wondering what just happened. It’s all quite satisfying.
Of the many story types out there, I always appreciate those that dive deeper into a fictional universe, and explore concepts brushed over in the original. I also very much enjoy world building and kingdom building fanfictions or Self Inserts (SIs). And finally, you can’t go wrong with a bit of magic. The key with magic, is making sure it plays a part in the story. I’m sure I’m not alone in my frustration with some stories where the character is given magic, only to discover they’ve lost access to it, or can’t / won’t use it to solve their problems. *sigh.
Anyway, you’re hopefully reading and enjoying my first fic shared with a wider audience. I have a few other stories in-mind, and some drafts floating around, but I’ll take it slowly and try not to juggle too many stories at once. The original drafts are easy. It’s going back to edit and polish the stories that takes an inordinate amount of time. And I don’t want to leave you with yet another abandoned fic to add to the long list in the fanfic world. So please be patient as I edit and release.
That being said, I will be releasing a new chapter here at least monthly, if not more frequently when I can get ahead on a story.
