Vintage Tastes (takes one and two)
Added 2018-07-03 05:14:15 +0000 UTCMy first attempt at a quickie didn't turn out like I wanted. I wrote take one Saturday morning, all in one go, but had to stop myself when I hit 2,500 words because I was well past the target of 1K words.
And I hadn't even gotten to the diner scene, which is what I was most looking forward to.
But I didn't want to dump everything I had written already, so Sunday morning I started over fresh, lifting a few paragraphs at the start and ending and filling in the rest with the diner stuff, and now I'm posting both at once.
Don't expect me to go so overboard with the future quickies :p
