I've been waiting to get to this part since I wrote the script, and Crumb's deliver is spectacular! I mentioned last stream how I planned to give each of the main characters at least a moment where they get the spotlight, so Alan gets his this arc ๐๐ญ

2023-05-29 16:17:30 +0000 UTCHi I'm going backwards in terms of uploads because it dawned on me that I am in fact, allowed to give my honest sincere thoughts on these and ill likely be heard as a patreon. (Dw im not working up to a major criticism). When I first watched this, I had a big Surprised Pikachu moment where I was like "oh my god...is ALAN the kid mime?" But seeing Claude in the most recent clip already looking so worn down, I sort of was like "oh wait no." So in retrospect it makes all the more sense what tactics Lila uses on people, and I have no doubt that she used these on Felix as well. 1. She makes Claude feel obligated to help her so he must choose her over Alan. 2. Had Alan not already been made aware of Lila's behavior, he probably would have completely blamed Claude for this choice, and Lila would have swooped in as a 'savior' when she wants to further isolate Claude. 3. In doing this she would make Claude further depend on her for validation and support, while vilifying his friends. (Ie. "alan is so mad at you, but I dont understand why when you're just helping me ๐ฅบ uwu" This is a very real tactic folks. While some things do sometimes come up to cancel plans, this clip is intended to flag a pattern of Lila needing Claude's aid when he has other plans. Also the comment about Paris being terrorized was EXCEPTIONALLY tasty and the kind of worldbuilding I needed because would that not be terrifying??

Honestly, I like Claude, but I think since he doesn't understand how bad Lila is, Marinette, Felix, and Alan need to give him some space until or if he ever comes to his senses. Right now he is Lila's pawn and things will get worse around Claude! I'm still worried about what Alya is doing with that footage! Also, WHO CHANGED THE BACKGROUND TO PURPLE? We already know what's up now. Voice actors, on POINT! Congratulations on finishing this part to fast! It's not Monday yet! Nice work! You are working so FREAKING hard, it's incredible!
