Bloodborne Kart dev update 2023/5/11
Added 2023-05-11 20:34:53 +0000 UTCWrapping up the Astral On-Ramp track for today's Bloodborne Kart dev thread!!
On top of adding the relevant AI pathing actors to the track, I also made the minimap and expanded the minimap racer icons to display if they are above or below the player (by making them half transparent or switching out the icon with an upward facing arrow) to account for the fact that this track is very vertical.
The original idea was to have multiple 'floor' layer support that the map toggles between as the racer goes up the track, but I decided to keep it simple as making an entire layered floor system for one track isnt worth the complexity and potential bugs IMO
