Spinnable Staff

VRCFury Prefabs for normal and lightweight versions with materials for standard shader and Poiyomi shader. Poiyomi version has AudioLink and dissolve effects.

A big stick you can spin around, has physbones for momentum to give a more realistic feeling.

Can swap hands seamlessly.


Can be held from the ends.


Has impact effects with the environment.


Has an autospin mode in case your arm gets tired...



requires VRCFury and Final IK Stub

Lightweight version included (does not have particles, trails, or Final IK)


====controls====

Lock physics - Thumbs up on the hand NOT holding the staff

Swap hands - Move the other hand near the stick like you are about to grab it and pull the trigger while doing the closed hand gesture

-all other gesture controls are on the hand holding the staff-

Hold staff from bottom end - 2 fingers gesture

Hold staff from top end - Finger gun gesture

Hold staff from middle - Point gesture

Toggle autospin - Rock'n'Roll gesture

Installation instructions:

Place the desired prefab onto the avatar in the hierarchy (make sure it is a child object of the avatar)

Move the 'Right Hand Pos' and 'Left Hand Pos' into the desired positions, the white cylinders show where the staff will be when in that hand

To resize the staff, scale the 'Root Position' object
