all these people trying to justify the sex scene when theyre completely ignoring the fact that Jinx was effectively dead to Vi had it not been for Ekko 😂😂The show's most powerful, recurring dynamic would have ended right then and there. It only takes 5 seconds to realize how fucking absurd that is from a general perspective when you consider the show has literally been about them. Yall grasping at straws trying to justify that. Cope harder.

Nah, this scene wasn't forced. Stress of losing everyone, reuniting with your ex, deeply loving each other, etc, all culminates in doing the dirty in a dirty place. Because it is a dirty, grimy, and chaotic love. Everyone wants to do what's right, but at everyone's core, we are not perfect. The scene symbolized their love can exist even in the darkest places and situations. Something that they both forgot about because they were pursuing their own ambitions and goals which conflicted with each other.

honestly i took “breaking the cycle” as leaving VI behind along with piltover I mean silco says you break the cycle when you find the will to walk away. Not sure how that means being suicidal.

@Apathina I really want to say this in the most respectful way possible, but it feels like you haven't watched the show at all, lmao. The whole point of Vi's character is that she spends all her time fighting for the people she loves and that she never does anything for herself. Everything she did in s1 was for Jinx, even her getting stuck in that jail cell was because she was helping Jinx, going behind her girlfriend's back to do so might I add. I don't understand how you can be an arcane fan and say something like 'Vi doesn't do anything for Jinx.' Like.. it's literally her entire character? Powder even says it herself in ep7? You guys expect her to be there as someone who chases after Jinx, helps her, and supports her, but you forget that Vi is a character all on her own too. Secondly, it was only obvious to us as viewers that Jinx was potentially suicidal because we see things from her perspective, like the conversation she had with Isha, with Silco, etc etc. Vi doesn't see that. She only sees her sister, who was a terrorist, who might've turned back around, so she goes to free her. But then when Jinx runs away, Vi thinks she was wrong about Jinx changing. You can see this in her conversation with Caitlyn too, when she says 'I really thought she'd help.' and 'I choose wrong every time.' This leads me to the last point (I promise I'm almost done), but her saying her line 'I choose wrong every time, and because of that I've lost everyone.' means she went behind Caitlyn's back to break jinx out of jail, and she knew there was a good chance she would lose Caitlyn because of it. Caitlyn then telling her that she LET Vi break Jinx out of jail is confirmation that she is trusting Vi in her decisions and putting her love for her over her grief for her mom and her hatred for Jinx. This might be hard to get, but at the same time, it's arcane, which means you really have to pay attention to every line of dialogue. This is the healing point of their relationship since ep3, and the closure to their conflict, and as Ron said, there was so much built up emotion, so the sex scene is reasonable. Might be unreasonable to some viewers because of what WE see before and after, but for Cait and Vi's characters, it makes sense. Idk man...kinda baffling to me how some arcane watchers don't even have enough comprehension level to say some shit like 'Vi doesn't do anything for Jinx." Like I'm so sorry are we watching the same show. But thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

Where is the media literacy? We've seen more build-up for their scene than Jayce & Mel's, yet their scene was NEVER an issue lmao. Idk how people can watch this show and think their scene of ALL in the show, was forced.

in the last episode i think you guys forgot heim technically died😭 he sacrificed himself to get ekko thru. alsoooo the scene where cait opens the cell for vi and they hehe do it that whole scene is def a parallel to when they first met in season 1! the way they animated was sorta the same where vi’s back is turned and then she looks back and sees cait outside the cell. i think that detail makes their scene more intimate and kinda special to me. i really love them<3

Fun fact. The show was animated in France and apparently the VixCait scene was much longer.. This is the toned down version of it because they'd otherwise isolate members of the audience with the rating bump and Riot did not want that.. Considering this was the SHORT version, and the French are wild.. I can only imagine what the longer version was like. O_O
