The costume has a green spike bang type thing coming up from his forehead there's more white in the hair and a few other differences. Probably it's a character related to Crust though. Like how Iida's family all are heroes with engine speed type quirks.

So like dupla arms, the raw strength and rubber skin of the nomu, gecko's quirk - those can't be erased. It seems like shiguraki either discovered or acquired a heteromorphic quirk that lets him make a billion fingers somehow - that's why it wasn't erased. just a theory tho

It’s as if they just got rid of it since brotherhood came out. I too prefer brotherhood over the original but I would still like to give the original a second watch since it’s been years since I’ve seen it, but I can’t find it. So it’s safe to say that they’ll be watching brotherhood, which follows the manga a lot better than the original did.
