I mean we all saw the brothers backstory in S3 but we only saw Genya’s perspective of it. We haven’t Seen Sanemi’s Perspective of the story as yet which has more details

I’m watching another reactor channel ‘Blind Wave’, they react to many movies, series and anime. So they normally take note on the things they think is important. Just short and simple notes. Another thing they do is going through their notes and doing a quick recap about the previous episode before reacting to a new episode. It’s a good tip for reactors. But you can do the way you think it’s best for you.

Yea I’m fine with the cool areas as well but for them to make a whole season of just the cool areas, it’s not particularly my favorite.. I hope something goes down near the end.. I don’t get why they couldn’t add this arc together with another one, it’s so short..

I know you guys are not use to this but you guys should start taking notes on a notebook. The only reason why ppl don't like this arc is cause it's the shortest arc in the manga, in the anime they just added some new scenes for the anime to make it longer.

Ok so I read the manga so it’s safe to assume the last episode (8) will end with chapter 139 in the manga.. because that chapter is not the next arc actually.. it’s still considered the hashira training arc. If you don’t know what the chapters about, reread it as I don’t want to spoil anyone by making a comment about it. Once you reread it you’ll be hyped 🤣

OK, we have read the comments, and went back and watch the genya backstory scene in s3 e6. WE did remember some of their backstory, that was shown, but not everything obviously. On top of that, I still would like more backstory into the wind hashira and how he is so strong, what happened after he left his brother after the night killing his mother and is genya the only one who eats demons and turns? If so why just him??But either way, we just decided we are going to rewatch the entire season this week. Its honestly hard to remember everything we watch, especially a year apart, when we have watched 20+ anime, 5 different episodes a day since then. Not an excuse. We are embarrassed tbh. But we are choosing to rewatch it for our own enjoyment. So that we dont miss any emotional moments moving forward, by not clearly remembering backstories and past episodes. Wanted yall to know this. Thanks for dealing with us. Thanks for watching with us. Even with our flaws.

Yes. Their back story was explained in the Swordsmith Village Arc, last season. Their whole family was killed by a demon and Sanemi managed to stop it, however the demon was revealed to be their mother and Genya blamed his brother for killing her, clearly not understanding what had happened. But since then he's realized the actual situation and is attempting to reconcile with Sanemi, hence why he joined the Demon Slayer Corps.

I assume part of Sanemi's attitude toward Genya is similar to how Yuichiro treated Muichiro. It's his way of protecting Genya, the only family he has left, by trying to make him less involved with demons as possible. He just also has some anger management issues!

Glad you guys noticed Iguro likes Kanroji😏. Figured you guys would have noticed back in season 2 haha. Only thing I’m disappointed in from this episode was we didn’t really get to see him train as much with Iguro and Kanroji. Especially Kanroji who’s one of my favorites. Also I’m not certain but I 100% feel like Gyomei is the strongest of all the Hashira from how everyone acts towards him especially the Hashira. I also feel Kanroji is definitely top 3-4 strongest of the Hashira.

Refresher for the siblings backstory that was shown to us in Season 3 Episode 6 @10:55(In case you guys want to watch it again) - They had other siblings, their abusive father died so it was up to Sanemi and Genya to take care of the rest of the family and they promised to protect everyone. One night their mom was gone longer than usual. A demon came by and slaughtered all the siblings and Sanemi killed the demon, it is then revealed that this demon was their mother and Genya resented him at the time for killing their mother. I believe later in life Genya realized how hard it must have been for Sanemi to do that, hence why he's trying to apologize to Sanemi. Genya is the only one who can eat demons and gain demonic traits. I don't believe it was explained why exactly it is that only he can or how he discovered this. But Sanemi has never eaten demons.

Name it Shaké! It's a salmon nigiri sushi, shaké is how you say salmon in Japanese! lmaooo i typed this before I heard Michelle, who is correct. Salmon is sake but it can also be shaké. Just to note, this episode was pretty much the same as in the manga with a few spots of original anime material. I would have loved to see more Kanroji but I understand why they didn't extend her training. I have an idea on how they'll end this season; if it is what I think and hope, I can't wait to see all the anime only watchers' reactions.
