This work is a manga created in the 1990s. I'm Japanese, and there were very few manga at the time that had such a complete story. It's a wonderful piece of work. The final scene reminds me of friendship and reminds me of friends who have died.

2024-05-31 03:38:05 +0000 UTCPhD and doctorate are interchangeable terms. PhD means Doctor of Philosophy, and is applied to most academic fields/disciplines disciplines. For example, you can be a Doctor of Philosophy in history, media studies, musicology etc. MD, of course, means medical doctor.

At the beginning, this anime doesn’t feel very deep, but a few episodes in, it starts to get deeper and deeper, and in the end, it’s awesome. Great lessons and great reflections. I like to think that Shinichi will live longer than most humans because of Migi, and at least at the end of their life, they will have a good long conversation.

My brain's sore xD Also, I think it was logical for Migi to pseudo give Shinichi his arm back. It is just the right choice considering Migi's experience and pov. In the beginning these parasytes as a species seemed like very new, almost like a blank slate. The species as a whole did not have enough history to have shared much knowledge through their DNA. (Even as babies, animals know to avoid predators or bigger animals and it makes them scarwd because it naturally reacts that way coz of DNA.) But Migi naturally got feelings over his journey with Shinichi. So it seems like something Migi would do. P.S. This is just my opinion, haven't researched the scientific explanation behind DNA :p
