I believe most of that was initially, and as she was starting to think more about the whole thing. As messed up as that is, it's kind of understandable. Basically pure instinct. It'd be like judging someone who decided to become a vegetarian later in life by how much meat they ate beforehand. Like a three year old kid isn't going to suddenly think: I shouldn't eat meat, it's living animals being killed. we're instinctually omnivores; parasytes were instinctually human-vores. I believe she also said she stopped recently.
