For sure. So many people want to fight the fact that luffy is the strongest just because he’s the main character and they want to be edgy. Even zorro respects luffys strength and submits to literally everything he says. Zorro would never be loyal to anyone other then someone stronger then him. He’s been that way since the beginning.

Originally Mr 2 says Okama Way which stands for homosexual/ transvestite which they couldn't show in tv so it got changed in the subs and the dub version to oh come my way. At this point if Ace was leagues ahead of Luffy. The adventure would have been over too fast. So it's better that he left. Also they had different goals. He's looking for a former crewmate. And to clear up the confusion Crocodile used Baroque Works to smuggle the powder to frame the king so the people would doubt him. That's why the rebel army was created. They believed the act and didn't trust the king.

The recap animation and the narrator recap is not in tune, meaning they show many flashbacks of what has happened but the narrating only summarises. So you understood wrongly. The rebel army did not smuggle in the rain powder. Crocodile got people to smuggle in the rain powder, probably the minions from Baroque Works but pretended to be Merchants delivering the rain powder to the Palace to make people think the King used the rain powder. Rebel army has nothing to do with Crocodile. They are citizens who are led to believe the King bought Rain powder for his own selfish reasons and forsaking the rest of the country and citizens who are dying of drought. And yes Michelle is right. You guys have seen Koza(in the episode Chopper got onto the cart to get away from the heat but got delivered tgt to the rebel army camp) but you guys didn't know he was Koza.

To make things clear, the ones smuggling the powder is crocodile’s group, baroque works, who sabotaged the king’s image by making it look like the king uses the powder. And the rebel army was created because they fell for the sabotage and believe the king is actually bad and using the powder. Basically crocodile and baroque works are manipulating the rebel army into hating the king.

Zoro stronger then Luffy? I don't know man. 🤣 Zoro is arguably cooler and on par with Luffy. However, Luffy has some insane feats to his name in comparison to Zoro up to this point. I think in a serious 1v1 Zoro might actually beat Luffy because he's actually vulnerable to swords but overall Luffy would be able to take on more foes then Zoro could. Personal opinion.
