I want to point out something that i found intresting here, in this episode gon said"i have no sympathy for bugs that call each other trash",so essentially gon is saying that if they didnt call each other trash then he would have sympathy for them(and thats why kite said "thats scary what if they would care for their comrades and not call them trash" as a reply to what gon said, ok right now catch this back in phantom troupe arc when gon and killua got caught by nobunaga gon said to nobunaga "so you wont forgive them for killing ur comrade" ,((btw the comrade is uvogin, anyways) ok so gon is basicaly saying to nobunaga that nobunaga is a hypocrite cus he cries for uvogin yet kills others and its important to mention gon is enraged when saying this to nobunaga gon is so mad when he says this, ok so you can probably catch my drift already and see where im going with this, ok so one time gon says you feel bad for ur comrades THATS BAD!!! but on another occasion he says you dont feel for ur comrades THATS BAD!! thats kinda contridicatory of him

2023-12-27 09:42:51 +0000 UTCIf y'all remember, when Wing was teaching Gon and Killua about Nen, he had to forcibly awaken Nen in them by forcing his Nen into them. So Rammot had the same thing happen to him when he got punched by Gon with a fistful of Nen.

Once a king was born, the hierarchy in the ant colony changed and the risk expanding the colony was imminent. So I feel like it made a lot of sense to be at the forefront of the arc pretty early on. But everyone has different perspectives :)

But as he mentioned, that specific weapon can only be used with that move. So when he got that weapon, he had to use it like that, which he knew would basically kill all of them, leaving no more opponents for Gon and Killua. But I might be thinking too much into it

2023-12-02 19:42:56 +0000 UTCI agree with Mohamed. On my first watch, I also found it really slow paced. And It's not just because I want fights all the time. If that was the case, I wouldn't have loved season 2 of Vinland saga. But that was a masterpiece for me. I think part of what can feel slow with the ant arc, is that they start mentioning the king too early. It feels like they build up the hype too soon, and the hype for the king sort of died out for me, before we got to see him. But of course, when he was born, I got hooked again.

2023-12-02 09:53:19 +0000 UTCI think you may have forgotten because it's been a while, but when Gon and Killua learned Nen, Wing had told them that there were two ways to activate Nen in one. Firstly, the normal way, i.e. through years of training. And secondly, through force. And it was this path that Gon and Killua went, and that the Chimera Ants are going now. By hitting each other with all their strength, they put each other in an emergency situation, which then violently forces the Nen out of them

I’ve heard a couple of opinions in the past about this arc saying that it was boring because it was so long, but I feel like those people just want to see battles in anime and nothing else. Because the storytelling is just incredible, it makes you ask yourself some questions. Anyways, ep 84-85 are 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Naruto has double drops, One piece has double drops, Avatar has double drops, it's hxh's time to get promoted. This arc has you on the edge of your seat and immersed. It only gets more intense from here.

Gon and Killua had their Nen "opened" with an attack from Wing and the Nen attack from Gon did the same with Rammot and now Rammot tries to do the same stuff to give other Ants the ability to activate/use Nen
