Korea also get’s their name for it from ‘Pão’(maybe they both also heard the Spanish word Pan and preferred to use that 😂). Even Tempura(Japanese deep fried batter) was also introduced to japan by the Portuguese missionaries and the Japanese developed it more into it their own style. The name comes from the Spanish word Temporas(seasons).
