And it's not because he afraid, it was part of TV show where a member of Sakurazaka46 wrote letter to him asking him questions, and he replied to that letter. He revealed the plan D that he won't use anyway, so if he passed away people can use that ending. Also, plan A B C could change depends on his mood in future.

Although i have not read it yet i think its worth mentioning here for fans of the manga and anime. Might be an idea for Ron and michelle to read through that when they finish the show aswell to get some extra closure

The anime skipped some parts of the manga about him, but he is set up as a character for the very very far future, if at all
