Sometimes it feels like a show isn't fully Ron approved or something he's really into until he finds a red headed character lol. Glad he saw one in the open at the very beginning. But no really, so excited to see more of how Ron feels about this vs. how Michelle feels with such a different knowledge of this anime and Ron's preferences of anime genres in general.

for an example of a studio changing scenes, the promised neverland is one that was totally butchered for season 2. they removed a seriously important character and had to change the rest of the story as a result. i always tell people who don’t want to read the manga to only watch season 1 and use your imagination for the rest cuz anything is better than what that ended up being 😭🤣 moral of the story is to adapt the source material faithfully! it sold well and got an adaptation in the first place cuz it’s good as it is 😂

I recommend you read/watch the anime/manga Wotakoi, i dont think there is a lot of demand for reacts to it so it could be a good anime to watch in bed. Or a good manga to read if you don't want to watch the anime. Its way less raunchy but still wholesome and a story about working adults rather than high schoolers. It is my personal favorite in the romance genre.

To further explain on this. It depends on what the creators really want. Most of the time they will consult or work with the manga author and figure out what to cut out and what to keep in or even to change depending if the manga author did not like a chapter they put out. Most of the time they focus on adapting it 100%, but sometimes a lot of stuff can get cut. Horimiya for example is one I think off my head instantly. Followed it faithfully but 1 episode could get through a whole volume ( that manga cut a bunch of extra stuff out). Where as some shows get through just a couple chapters with in the 20 minute period. It depends on the higher ups and who they work with its not really always up to the animators.

The ED singer Milet should be recognizable to you guys since she also sang the ED accompanied by Man With A Mission for Demon Slayer season 3 (she also accompanied them for the OP of the same show). The OP for Frieren was sung by YOASOBI, who did the OP for Oshi no Ko (not sure if you've seen that show yet, I get confused with different reactors sometimes...).

The VA for Himmel is Nobuhiko Okamoto, who also voiced Genya in season 3 of Demon Slayer and Katsuki Bakugo in MHA. Even more impressive is that the VA for Frieren is actually Atsumi Tanezaki, who also voiced Anya in Spy x Family! Amazing vocal range in this girl, LOL.

Well, while Mushoku is an Isekai anime (and one of the best of this genre), Frieren is a pure fantasy story with no reincarnation or whatever, that starts years after the big villain is defeated. So yeah i'd say it's quite refreshing haha ! Visuals and musics are stunning, it's a very contemplative journey. I hope you'll give it a chance someday ! :)

Most anime adaptations try to be faithfull to their source material, whether that is a manga or novel. Naturally they cant be 100% faithfull because of time limits, however i think in most cases manga or novel enjoyers will recognize what direction the adaptation will go despite that. Obviously both novels and mangas will be more fleshed out than the anime, especially the latter

Sweat and soap is a wholesome romance manga with adult characters rather than underage characters. Its really a nice read. If you haven't read more I really recommend you read more, its concept may seem weird but its really a great manga in that genre. Also excited you guys are watching this. Gigguk dropped a video about the manga for frieren a year ago and seeing this now is amazing.

im already on ep 4, but i will wait to be at the same with you guys. And speaking only for the 1st episode and the story premise itself, it its pretty interesting for a long time anime watcher as i am, cause always we see the start of an adventure the travel, the friends that the MC meets on the journey, and its almost always a human, and they can have a friends with elves or so, but when defeat the demon, or the villain, pretty much the story ends, and all is over, and you cant see more of the characters, but with frieren it cover the two of this arguments, what it is after defeating the villain, and the view, not from a human, but an elve in this case
