Taz, who plays Sanji, did some intense kick training for the role, like 8 hours a day for several months kind of training in multiple fighting/kicking styles, and he did his own stunts. He also trained in cooking so he could do the cooking scenes and be true to the character as well.

2023-10-10 08:47:08 +0000 UTCDon’t worry brother when they watch bleach they’re gonna lose it and fall in love haha but it’s great to start one piece now because it’s so much longer so they can watch all the other anime’s and keep knocking them out as they keep going along with one piece as a staple. They’ll be able to go knock out so many anime while on their one piece journey so by the time they catch up to where the anime is now they’d have reacted to all the big main heavy hitters.

I can’t wait for them to see episodes 7 and 8 then be confused by your comment about back stories lol or if they decide to react to the famous YouTube video of “the beautiful world of one piece” and see all the back stories an hidden meanings added to everyone it will prove it even more.

You must not be far enough into the anime or because it’s so many episodes forget key episodes but during the one of the arcs he literally makes it a point to change peoples view of him and his crew as pirates. I can’t cay the name of the arc or nothing about it for spoilers but yeah? I’m so confused on your comment. Hell even in the last month the newest episode of one piece’s episode title is about his beliefs. It’s literally the title. So you guys just be careful please when trusting some of these comments🫶🏼❤️

I only watched the live action through your reaction because when I watched the first two episodes, I didn't really like it because of too many details they changed. I liked the anime way better. Although I like how they cast their Zoro.

Pirates in the world of One Piece are criminals sailing on the ocean and sea. Marines catch pirates. Garp does not want Luffy to be a pirate as he would be deemed a criminal, be it a good or bad pirate, a pirate is a pirate in the eyes of the world system. Luffy can change people's view of pirates but pirates will still be criminals in the eyes of the world system.

However, for the Sanji backstory in the anime, it was changed as there were children that would watch the show. What's even funnier is the 4Kids version of One Piece anime even changed Sanji smoking cigarette to eating a lollipop. And I want to mentioned here again that Luffy in the manga/anime just wants to be pirate and find the One Piece. He is not looking to change the views people have for pirates. One Pace isn't complete, plus their video and audio cuts are abrupt, they chop off sections that allow moments to breathe, and some of the enjoyable iconic jokes from the anime are lost because they're not manga canon.

Its the one thing that i find weird in the live action because they keep making luffy say "I'm a different kind of pirate", probably to help non anime watchers quickly accept luffy's choice of life quickly within 8 episodes. Also, no one other than luffy knows what kind of pirate he wants to be so Garp's action IS actually fair

However at that moment Usopp burst in to let Luffy know that Zoro had challenged Mihawk, so it didn't really register with y'all cuz things were moving so fast. If you had spent 50 years as a top FBI operative, and then your grandson said not only am I going to be a gangster, but I'm gonna be the head of the biggest criminal syndicate on earth, of course you'd try to stop him.

I won’t say too much though since you guys plan to watch the Anime soon, it’s better if you guys see for yourselves.
