2024-05-14 14:23:27 +0000 UTCIdk why but I always feel like the english version of fortune is weird, maybe that's why not many get it at first read 😂 For example like the part "quietly rise", its pretty obvious in Japanese its about someone died because in original Japanese 穏やかに(odayaka ni) is translated as "quietly" in this subs but it's actually more like "peacefully" for this sentence. Also the word 運ばれていく(hakobareteiku) is more like "being taken away", rather than "rise". 高く(takaku) literally mean high. So it's easier to assume 高く穏やかに運ばれていく = "being taken away to a higher place peacefully" means someone died, while the translation saying "quietly rise" could misleading.

2023-09-25 15:49:18 +0000 UTCI don’t think he can steal abilities if they are already dead because the Kurta clan is dead and because if he did he would have went all out in the fight with the Zoldyk family. If he kills them he probably wouldn’t be able to take their abilities. I’m also speculating on this part but what if the abilities he steals disappear from his book once the person he steals it from dies. Thats why I think they have to be alive to steal their abilities.

He doesn’t care who he has to kill to get the trophy or treasure he wants. We love kurapika, we want to be on his side and we are. We want to hate chrollo bc he was behind killing his whole klan but it’s okay to like him or to be a fan of Chrollo he’s sick. 💜 love your reaction glad you guys are still enjoying it!
