Absolutely for me. Theres often times where im making decisions in my life, and I try to remember Iroh's advice to help guide me.

Zeallust

Unfortunately, it wasnt much better

Zeallust

Damn why ron already obsessed the other Korra she's a b*tch

Katsuki BakuGOAT

yall need to watch korra too!

Çlôud Testolini

reaching with that harry potter comparison xD

Christopher

Ron is leveling up, his powers over 9000!

kirk poss

What’s a toxic fan base that you have came across??

JMk24

not at all lmaooo, Zukos rage and anger is justified, Bakugo was just a spoiled brat XD

Zenru Renari

Kyoshi was an earthbender. If you see green clothes, it's most likely earth kingdom people. I'm really hyped for all the next episodes. I got to your patreon mainly for Avatar, but i will now watch everything XD. Btw, they got real martial artists for making the fighting scenes as realistic as possible, so you could use the "non-bending" moves in real life. The bending styles are also attributed to specific martial arts. Water bending derived from Tai chi, Earth bending from Hung Gar, Fire bending is northern shaolin art and air bending is Baguazhang (a chinese Wushu martial art)

Katsuo

Thank you very much. Very interesting. Never knew thank you for the knowledge. I had no idea. Probs to the creators to show so many cultures!

Saith Uchiha

Earth kingdom is Chinese inspired Water is Inuit inspired , fire is Japanese inspired and air is Tibetan inspired

Elizabeth Izaguirre

hate is a strong word lol

Michelle Lam

So Zuko reminds you of Bakugo? how? i mean when there is Todoroki Shoto in the same Show, how you think of Bakugo

Schrammbo

its predictable in the beginning because it technically it was on a kids tv channel, but it gets more and more mature as time goes on. Along with the story and lore, and animations

Conner

Intriguing. Thank you.

Saith Uchiha

Each major region is {loosely?} based on a different culture - generally speaking Inuit Regions, Tibet, Japan, and China are the respective areas they drew inspiration from iirc.

KeenEye

The only time I've ever seen this fandom toxic is when people start talking about the Nickelodeon live action {hopefully the Netflix live action will be better, based on the casting it already is} OR when arguing over certain aspects of The Legend of Korra.

KeenEye

44:47 Ron has unlocked forsight😂😂 watched enough anime to predict events and actions😂

Abdul-Rahman Lawal

I think Avatar is Chinese based. I’m interested if they also have Japanese traits like Momo means Peach.

Saith Uchiha

true ATLA is made for a younger audience than traditional anime so it feels more NA cartoony rather than typical anime tropes with unpredictability and plot twists. Korra is significantly more mature comparatively, so if you end up liking avatar then korra is a great watch if you seperate the two and accept the differances they implement in korra. in my opinion the lore drops and the pay off from seeing the world ang katara and sokka creates is enough justification to give korra a try if you really enjoy the avatar series

DB Cooper

I genuinely think this show made me a better person. It has so many important life lessons that are great for kids to learn

Trinature

Disregard, I googled it real quick and it seems that the accepted age range for the “target audience” was even younger at 6-11 year olds

Fenrir

My guy, Ron, I know you got ptsd from aot with all that theory crafting, but this show’s primary target audience was like 10-14 year olds. If ya end up watching Legends of Korra, it has a more adult theme and can definitely throw some twists for the theories, but for Aang and gang, just enjoy the ride

Fenrir

Teddy making that King size bed.

SingleMaltWhiskey

I love how this episode is the first real insight into the different arcs that each party member is on, how sokka is maturing as a man and as a warrior, how kotara is gaining independence, and aang is learning to take responsibility as the avatar

Dale Diaz

yea Ron i just hate the fact he predicts stuff about the girls are they benders what they do and stuff

Yoona Kim

Avatar The Last Airbender is not an anime. It's 2 White American Gen Xers' homage to Japanese anime (3, if you want to count the non-creator showrunner) and the worldbuilding leans heavily on a superficial surface level understanding of certain Eastern philosophies. It's also one of my favorite American TV shows from the past 20 years. 😄

chaosdreamer

"There are patterns that I recognize in shows" and that's when anime gets boring and you start looking for some unique once

ᴠᴍʏᴛs

bro its a kids show and your "predicting" what happens directly after anyone can guess. chill out

abolish

I like how they dont shy away from the main cast having issues and changing + showing humility.

Apathina

I know I say this a lot but this is one of the shows that truly gets better and better and by the end, you wish you could just start over! Loving your reaction and you are so spot on with some of your comments which you will find out. I don’t want to give anything away!

LivvyB

Rip I’m pretty sure the next ep is where I got hooked on this show. I can’t wait 😁😁😁

LJ

Oh hell ya! Got something new to watch now!
