Going out of 2024 with a bang! Well actually a lot of them 🤣 This is one I've wanted to get to for some time and I'm finally doing it! I hope you have as much fun as I did!

I find with Christmas movies I either love them or hate them, and this one I love! So much heart and warmth rolled into a smorgasbord of gorgeous animation. I love that it presents as a Santa origin but it's really about humanity and the capacity for goodness we all have in us. Enjoy!

Looks like we're back to normal life, for at least a little while. These first few episodes of a new arc indicate that we'll be touching base with the side characters who didn't take part in the previous chaos, as well as working through some of the trauma left in the ones that did. And based on the new opening, it looks like School Festival will play a significant part, so let's get it!

This was a wild ride and I'm not sure exactly how I feel even after finishing this one! There is a lot to like, and I think if only the ending were different it would be much better. I don't mind dark, but I don't care for bleak and I think the ending puts it over the line for me. But everything else is so good I can't write it off completely. What do you guys think?

Culture shock has been a big theme in this show but this is the one where it really rears its head and the consequences are way beyond what Blackthorne (and I suppose we) expect. It's also what makes the characters' actions and thoughts so hard to read, which definitely keeps you guessing!
