Something I learned is these type of shows mix in fake or meaningless 'clues' with real ones. But in the end, it is up to the audience to choose whether to figure them out or just not overthink and enjoy the ride. I think all of it is to add enjoyment to any rewatchers out there like me and others.

so in the hypothetical event that Light is Kira and Misa is not and light is just framing her whilst leaving the second kira outside. He’s basically just getting his innocence for free. Idk, i think its a very rash and impulsive clearance. This couldve just been Lights plot and if the show had been written differently and Misa really wasnt the second kira and wqs framed by light. then L wouldve been fooled with something so stupid. just a thought, i do agree the show is beautifully written, but just kinda thinkjng out loud.

The way Light's face changed after he got rid of the notebook, he looked so innocent here. Got me feeling like Kira and Light were totally different people

He found traces of her hair on the videos of the one claiming to be the second kira. He's been 100% correct. Also, out of the blue they're boyfriends.... Their is no hole here

theres kinda of a hole in the story here. What if Misa ISNT the second Kira. then light and misa being put away wouldnt confirm their innocence because another kira would be out there. I dont know how L could overlook something so simple 🤷‍♂️, hes kinda putting all his eggs into the light/misa basket.

Such a binge worthy show I tried to get my little brother hooked but he’s the type of guy whose like “I just don’t like anime”. I wish everyone would try a full season of almost any mainstream anime (like death note) and look me in the eyes and say yeah I’m not watching the next season. It’s so mentally addictive, it’s consider/is art. I just think some people are just wired to think any cartoon looking thing is immature but it’s not a cartoon I’ve talked to people 50 years old + that love anime. I used to work in a retirement home and I met a WW2 Vet that loved anime we became close and would always have convos on anime super super cool guy unfortunately he did die from cancer. Anime depending on the show is for anyone 12+. Imo

The only reason why Light didn't lose his memories when he gave Rem back her Death Note is because he still has Ryuk's and therefore the knowledge of Death Notes and Shinigamis in general. And Light said "Just as I thought. As long as I have Ryuk's notebook, even if I give up Rem's notebook, my memory of Rem doesn't disappear." I think this line was intended to show the viewers that his memories remain as long as he has at least one Death Note

I love the perspective of this show. So much death has happened so far at Light’s hand and watching him navigate and seeing his thought process is so cool. I wonder where this show will go from here! Enjoying the watch with you guys 🙌🏾
