I'm glad you guys are being so positive about the spoilers incident. I, myself try not to overexplain to avoid giving spoilers unintentionally. As for the Impersonation Jutsu by the 'leader' of Akatsuki, it's simply taking chakra from person Z and using a vessel/body to create a physical clone with Z's chakra so Z can use it to fight etc until the chakra runs out.

I think its perfectly fine to miss certain things and forget others when you watch a show for the first time, i love Naruto so for me its more about the excitement of seeing someone watch it for the first time and get hyped like i did, the anticipation for certain events/fights and how they will react to it. Its fine to want to help them along but it makes no sense to overly explain things and babysit how they watch the show lol, just enjoy the ride and as long as they dont ask for it or miss something important i dont see the reason for explaining everything. Its more fun to hear their predictions and thoughts rather than reading all wiki explanations in the comments lol

So as Ron asked about the Akatsuki power ranking, as of the members revelaed so far it would be Itachi, Kisame and then Deidara/Sasori. The margins between those two aren't that big but Itachi is strongest and Kisame second for sure

I think they say something about "we're only using 30% chakra" but it's a passing comment and the implication is not obvious so definitely a spoiler. 99.9% of people on a first watch will not realize what that comment means until the anime actually explains it, and that's most certainly the effect the writers were aiming for.

The manga starts off with Kakashi's back story that's why you're confused. I've seen channels start the show with it which really works cause the anime places the episodes in a weird spot taking away from another plot point.
