Like, we barely got to know him, but we understood him. We knew enough to know we wanted him to live. But his young life was cut short, no flashbacks, no grandiose moment with orchestra, just his desperation. And Miwa sitting next to an empty puppet saying she wants to meet the real him one day.

In all the time that he was in that water tub thing, he was storing excess, cursed energy into whatever that thing was. So he wasn’t using years of his life to fight he was using 16 years worth of cursed energy that is stored up. Because had that been the case that he was using his life force, I’m pretty sure they would’ve mentioned it and we would’ve actively seen him facing the repercussions of doing that. So ALOT of people are confusing that so just wanted to clear the air.
