My interpretation of the "Father" thing was Emilia recognizing and honoring the role Geuss would have likely played in her life had their lives not been cut short.

About the replacement, I like the idea of adding more episodes of a current show like HxH. Like Thomas Rex is saying, attachment and attention to each show will be greater.

You can easily start blending facts and characters from different shows together, and confusing yourself even more. Also, as you said, your attachment and attention to each show will be greater and you can have a better quality viewing experience overall. (I used to watch a whole show before watching anything else, even if it was over 100 episodes long)

They had good intentions, and I'm glad they wanna provide us with more content, but it was probably a mistake to take on this many shows at once. I'm happy to know they're reconsidering. Ron said they're at maximum capacity right now, but I think they might have exceeded it even before the vacation. Plus, who wants to work more than necessary on their vacation? Based on some of the comments from their newest HxH reaction, it sounds like Re:Zero isn't the only show impacted by the current circumstances. Rather than start a new series (which I'd advise against) or add more episodes for an existing series, I think the Re:Zero spot should stay vacant. At least until they've returned from vacation. They need to relax and enjoy their trip! Focusing on work during a vacation prevents you from coming back recharged.

Re: Zero is one of the shows that suffered a bit from the current format, I assume. I realized it when you guys were forgetting things that you discussed in previous reactions. However, even if you had binged watch Re: Zero, you'd probably still have some questions. The second season is so much information and it's tough for even the most experienced of anime watchers lol. I had to supplement the second season episodes with another youtuber who was explaining the episode and even went over missed content that didn't feature in the anime. So don't feel bad about not being able to follow everything. The second season was tough to follow for a lot of us. Either way, I'm happy I got to rewatch this with you guys. This was like a refresher for me which is perfect considering that season 3 was announced not too long ago.
