I recommend watching blue lock in dubbed, it really shows off the characters emotions wayyyyy better and this is coming from someone who has watched it both in subbed and dubbed!

I prefer them to watch KNB instead of Blue lock since KNB is already finished. Watching Blue lock now will only have them waiting for the next season then they will forget most episodes when the next season comes. Also, Blue lock manga is still on going. I'd recommend watching KNB because it'll be a good watch from start to end.

I don't think it'll be an issue. Blue lock will go by fast just 24 episodes, and Kuroko is goated it'll never be difficult to finish.

i don’t think it was necessarily bad but imo some of the middle/later episodes looked less finished :o i personally noticed it most in slower moments that probably get less budget and attention but overall i still think the first season was fire

Not related to the poll but for sports anime hopefully they can react to THE FIRST SLAM DUNK movie, once it's released. Idk when though, it's been a long run in Japan because of the huge success, still on cinema after 7 months 😅 Kuroko no Basket was my thing when I was in high school, I was a huge fan, but when I watched it again recently it felt "too shonen" if you know what I mean, idk how to describe it 😂 maybe I'm just getting old. I dropped blue lock after reading some chapters and watching few eps, so I might try to watch it again since you guys reacting to it 🧚 I like AoAshi better for soccer anime.

Kuroko's is kinda superpower-y tbh. But if your background is in basketball you may enjoy it. Slam Dunk is the greatest basketball series, imo, but only as a manga. The anime is nostalgic, but I think once you've internalized the vocal performances and the OST, you should switch to the manga. Bluelock is new and edgy. I'm voting for it because it's only got 1 season out so you'll get through it faster. Ping Pong: The Animation, Hajime No Ippo, Eyeshield 21, Yowamushi Pedal, Ace Of Diamond... these are sports shows worth checking out someday.

With the other lengthy shows you are watching at the moment, I think Kuroko is too long of a commitment compared Blue Lock. The good thing about a shorter series or things with only one season is that you’re able to cover more shows and build up variety.

I haven’t seen kuroko, but blue lock was insanely good and is trending rn. The animation kinda falls off at a point but with all of the hype around it I’m sure the second season will have a much higher animation budget. After finishing the anime, I was so into it that I went to read the manga and read 60+ chapters in two days. The first season was very good but I think it’s only gonna get better moving forward.

I think that you guys should strongly consider Hajime no Ippo(boxing anime) in your next poll of sports animes, its honestly a master class of an anime, great drama, hilarious humor, comfortable feels and amazing action for its time with a perfect amount of slice of life 10/10. my more in depth comment: i personally haven’t watched kuroko but blue lock was a really good watch and i think it’s a very fun inversion on what you see a lot of in sports animanga! the first episode blew me away and i immediately went to the manga which is just as good (if not better imo) and if you watch it now you’ll be sure to be caught up before the next season and movie drop next year :]
