Both mcs wants to be in the highest position of power, Hokage/Wizard King, both mcs have hidden power that became not so hidden later on, both mcs have a rival since they were young and the rival is a cool and popular guy, and both mcs are loud, weird, and unpopular. But to be fair, Black Clover really did get better and become it's own story as the series goes on but it does not compare to the unique and amazing story of HxH

Great Shounen anime. Love the opening and ending songs. Lots of action. Ron will like the anime since there is lots of action and comedy. However, I would not ever compare it with HxH and say it is a million times better. HxH in my opinion is still better than BC. HxH is on hiatus due to the mangaka's health and not cancelled. You should try reading the HxH manga which is ONGOINGxHIATUS. Try even watching the HxH 1999 anime, the animation not as great due to that times tech but it's good too. If you still think BC is better than that would be your own taste for anime. You are free to like your own style of anime. So guys let's not be rude to others who have different opinions.

BC has a few good moments of animations, but what i remember more are the parts where they had pixelated lava that could only be described as UNFINISHED animation, yet people here talking about black clover like its damn demon slayer levels of animation. 2023-06-24 01:25:25 +0000 UTCBC is the most generic as a shonen can get. Tabata does one of two things 1.) takes anime tropes and runs with it or 2.) takes anime tropes and flips them on their heads. Both of these things doesn’t inherently make his manga bad but to me it’s not very revolutionary in comparison to, lets say JJK, HP, or CSM. HxH on the other hand has arguably one of the most concrete and flexible power systems to come out of shonen jump, inspiring many others that came after and that’s only one of the things it does completely right.
