You had an expectation of a crazy fight, and were let down, meanwhile I had no clue what was going to happen, and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't go all out, and loved the emotional side of it.

Plus both sides were obviously holding back so they wouldn't hurt the other. They wanted to subdue Deku - not beat his ass.

I mean I get it if your brain can only enjoy when people are punching each other but it's your own fault for thinking this was going to be some all out brawl (and shows you don't understand these characters after almost 6 entire seasons).

The class combo move is practically the same as saving Bakugo in season 3 and half the episode is flashbacks to one off moments mostly. It's alright just oversold and hyped imo probably the weakest of this latter half of the season when they tried to make it huge. These are all pretty valid points I feel but stay meat riding mha.

If hes on the level of All-Might now they dont stand a chance alone. The only reason they were even able to do this is cause he wasnt fighting back he was just trying not to hurt them as he ran away.

"Sad" might just be to specific of a term for this episode as it also has a lot of "sad" scenes (like midoriya and bakugo talking) that could also be considered heartwarming because its them coming to an understanding.

2023-05-27 15:14:03 +0000 UTC18:20 Bakugo saying we need to save everyone to win is such a throwback to back when Midoriya and Bakugo had the duel in the middle of the night, the night they became true rivals. All Might had said that Midoriya's ideal of saving ppl to win and Bakugo's ideal of winning agains villains to save ppl both need to come together in order to become the best heroes there are. To hear "save to win" come from Bakugo's mouth, just adds onto the layers of realization how far Bakugo has grown xD.

Truly showing that Deku might keep getting stronger and stronger but like a true rival Bakugo's been close to him the whole way.

Had Deku been at 100%, they wouldn’t have been able to stop him. He’s a One for All user and has the most powerful version of the quirk. The gap is expected tbh
