We had everything on camera not to mention the cameras in the parking garage but LAPD refused to do anything; not even an investigation despite multiple requests. Police told me its not a hate crime bc the injuries my bf inflicted on his black assailant in self defense was worse than the concussion my bf got from the sucker punch? This was at the height of the black on asian hate crimes a few yrs ago, now that we saved up we're looking to move somewhere the police actually protects and serves. Good to hear Austin may be a competent choice
