2024-03-13 23:20:51 +0000 UTCah mannnn, the last exchange emilia and subaru had about special treatment was so frustrating too. emilia was just again reminded about how much people discriminate against her, the different treatment she's had to endure most of her life. and subaru said basically allll the wrong things for her, even though he was talking about something completely different.

I've watched multiple animes of different genres, and also watched most of the existing romances, but i don't really recall a single episode like this one. There's almost no action in this episode, so one could say it's a boring episode, but not really. Even though it's all talk, these emotions between those characters feel so real. And after this episode, you know shit's gonna go down, because there's no way things can get better from such a depression.

He was a shutin with bad social skills and falls in love with Emillia and physically and mentally suffers for her. So its not hard to imagine that he'd want to always be by her side no matter what. He was pretty much being selfish like Emilia said in the talk. Those heavy and deep emotions can make all of us blurt out sentences and words we might not fully mean or should even say. If I was in Subaru's shoes I'd most likely do exactly the same... feelings can be a big obstacle and it makes me relate so much with him... damn

2023-05-11 18:34:57 +0000 UTCSubaru is a really immature flawed character but not a bad person or character. which makes it so much better when he learns his lessons and improves himself as a person. Moments like this shouldn't be undone by suicide or something like that as you guys discussed in the end of the ep, because then he would never have to suffer the consequences of his bad behavior/attitude. He needed to learn his lesson from this beating and this breakup so he can come back a better stronger person. Just like we all did when we went through our breakups throughout our lives. Or our failures. We learn from them and become a bigger better person from it. You guys definitely gave subaru a lot of slack here and I appreciated watching that. Every other reactor I watched for this episode always clowns on him (rightfully so honestly) This point forward is where I find re zero slaps the hardest. I look forward to it. Wish we had more to watch every week. Keep up the good work.

I love this anime and now its helping me through my love life too 😂 I Didn't realize I was gonna have a love therapy session today. Low key helped me hahaha Love this anime so far!
