Not sure if it plays into the story at some point but it's led to so many conspiracy theories.

2023-03-24 17:31:22 +0000 UTCIn the manga, the end of this episode actually contained a direct lead in to Heroes Rising, with the Doctor asking Shigaraki to do something for him after saying he’ll give him power. Sadly the anime cut it. But it probably wasn’t needed and would’ve been confusing to some.
