Status Update for 0.8.0

Developer Log 0.25

Welcome to Developer Log 0.25!

Let's get the important stuff out of the way first. Act II - Chapter 3's development has been the most interesting, in my point of view. 

First is the introduction of some very major choices in-game. These choices will not only affect the story, but also the girls' relationship towards our MC. And knowing how this game goes, these choices may literally mean the difference between life and death of certain characters.

Second, I've been receiving lots of inquiries on how many girls are included in the harem. We've already met lots, but understandably, it's still confusing. For my official (yet intentionally vague answer): there will certainly be more girls than there are in the harem.

Third would be how many Acts/Chapters will there be in The Arson Betrayal? Based on the outline I've made, the game would consist of 4 Acts, each with 5 chapters. Is that final? Yes. A rough outline of the events are already written down, and now it's all a matter of putting it into the game. Seeing as we're already in our 7th out of 20 chapters, we're almost halfway through the story.

Lastly, some shameless plugging and credits. I'd like to thank everyone for spending time in playing the game. Your reviews and criticisms are pretty much appreciated. Hell, that's almost half the reason why my renders, animations, and writing has improved compared to when I was just getting started, experience aside. Also, my utmost appreciation to my Patrons. Thank you for supporting the game.

Status Update: Act I - Chapter 2 Rework

It's almost done! The earlier chapters are now less of an eye sore.

Version 0.7.5 will include the visual rework, the 0.7.2 patch, and other minor bug fixes. We'll consider it as the final update before 0.8.0 (Act II - Chapter 2). Release date for 0.7.5 will be announced soon.

If my calendar's right, the next update would be either on Christmas (Just in time for The Arson Betrayal's 2nd anniversary!) or New Year! So stay tuned!

Update Patch 0.7.2

I'm proud to introduce the In-Game Walkthrough and Casual Mode.

The In-Game Walkthrough mainly pushes you through the Harem route. You might personally disagree with some of the choices, but still, it gives you an outline of what choices to take to get the best possible ending. If you want a personalized playthrough, play with it off!

Meanwhile, Casual Mode is intended for those who don't like timed choices. I admit that some animations are clunky with timed choices off (especially action sequences), but all in all, what this mode allows is for players who just prefer to play without the stress of scrambling to make a choice.

Status Update for 0.8.0

Developer Log 0.24

Welcome to Developer Log 0.24!

So what can you all expect in the next few weeks? First will be the In-Game Walkthrough (Credits to Resol). You can toggle it via the Options Menu. Just a warning about it though, it'll be tailored towards the Best Ending possible (which is the Harem ending), and it won't hold your hand every step of the way, so some choices would still require your decision.

Another option I'm working at would be the Casual Mode. It'll be an option screen at at the start of the game which turns off all timed choices in the game. In the upcoming chapters, a lot of decisions would require quick thinking and sudden choices all under a time limit. If this isn't your cup of tea, Casual Mode is the way to go.

A feature I've been working on for some time now would be the Codex. I've already introduced to you all what it is and what's inside, and I'm pleased to say it's almost done! Just a few more testing and I'll release it soon.

The In-Game Walkthrough will be released on September 3 (I'm currently double-checking everything). The Casual Mode and Codex will be released anytime in September, so stay tuned!

Lastly, Act II - Chapter 2 is now up for Public Release! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

7 Days to go - Arson Tier Release

Heya, and welcome to another Dev. Log! This focuses primarily on Act II - Chapter 2, as well as Chapter 3 and the remakes.

First things first! I've already posted the release dates for the next update previously (you can find it below if you haven't!). As usual, Patrons have early access to it before public release. I've already checked half of it thoroughly, but there might be some bugs/typos that I missed, so feel free to point them out when you see them.

Now, Version 0.7.0 will be divided into three parts. The first being the official releases (ranging from July 30 all the way to August 20, 2023), the second part being the Chapter 2 remake release (Late August), and the third part being the Codex and the much awaited in-game walkthrough (Late August to early September).

Aside from minor bug fixes and such, I'm already assuming that I'll be able to start working on Act II - Chapter 3 immediately.

On the other hand, it's time to talk about the Monthly Renders and Wallpapers! I'm well aware that the supposed renders for June haven't been posted yet (I've been very preoccupied with the update, and I've been trying to squeeze as much time as I can on it), but don't think that I forgot about 'em! I'll be releasing them soon along with July's, so get ready for a lot of renders for you guys to enjoy at the end of the month.

The Arson Betrayal Act II - Chapter 2 Release Dates

June Monthly Polls 2023 (Main)

Heya! It's been some time. I'll be releasing a Dev. Log soon, which may contain the probable release dates of Act II - Chapter 2 which I'm aiming for! The next update contains a lot of animations, more than a thousand renders (and still counting), and five scenes with the girls featuring different variations depending on your choices from previous chapters.

Now, Tiff's a little tired with all the spanking you guys give her over on our Discord server, so Luna's taking over for this month's polls.

Three polls will be made available, one for everyone, another for Patrons, and the last for Arson Tier Patrons. A set of Wallpapers will be posted soon as well for everyone.
