I imagine with their story it would be more like, a wounded Cosmo collapses in the woods, and is rescued by a huge beast!
The shy beast is initially afraid to show himself and has his servants take care of Cosmo's needs, checking up on the injured man from a distance!
But Cosmo is able to assuage his fears and they fall in love <3
