August Release + Important Notice on Content & Tiers moving forward! Please Read!

Hello everyone! Circque Du Sordane is now live! We are sorry for the delay in getting this release out. We had some hiccups in some of the assets getting done in time. Check out the full release below! Before we get there though, we have an important announcement to update you all on the change of rewards coming to our Patreon & Tribes

Important Notice of Changing Tiers & Content!

It has been about 14 months since we relaunched our monthly content on Tribes & Patreon. In that time, we have grown to over 1,500 monthly subscribers on average every month on Patreon & Tribes combined. It has been a great year, but we are having to restructure the way we produce content in order to make it more sustainable and improve the quality of the service we provide to you all going forward

What's going to change on Arcane Minis?

Airships Release Schedule Changing

We will still be making the airships you all know and love, but we are only going to be doing a new airship every other month instead of every month. That means that instead of 12 new airships a year, we are only going to do 6. The other months where a new airship isn't released, we will be releasing an airship from the vault (voted on by you, the community). The selections of these polls will be curated to match the upcoming adventure as well in most cases!

The current model we have is unsustainable in both cost and scheduling. Airships are massively complex and expensive models to create and they require a lot of post-sculpting work. For example, the Carnivalis was completed about 3 weeks ago, but preparing, merging and validating files requires a lot of time to do. As such, we are toning down our monthly releases in that reagrd. We will, however, still be releasing an airship every month. Realistically, each airship takes 2 months to finish and prepare for release.

We believe this change will not only make it a bit less of a hectic rush on our team's release schedule side, but it will also mean more complete and polished airships. Increasing the quality of what we release is very important.

This reduction in airships will start from next month. We will be releasing the Istari Class Frigate as the airship for September. October will see another brand new airship!

Reward Tiers Changing

EDIT: PLEASE NOTE - ALL CREWMAN AND NAVIGATOR TIERS WILL BE GRANDFATHERED INTO THE ADMIRAL TIER STARTING FROM THIS MONTH.

Another big change we are going to make starting from September is both what we offer in each reward tier, but also the price of the tiers.

Crewman Tier - Same Price. Adding adventure content & removing airship STLs

Crewman tier price will remain the same at $10, but we will be removing the airship STLs from this release and adding the digital files and adventure. Basically everything except the airships will be provided in this tier. We hope this will make it easier for a lot of people to continue to support us month after month as loyalty and continued support is the best way for us to improve our monthly content.

Navigator Tier - Discontinued. Rolling into the Crewman tier

The Navigator tier is being discontinued and renamed to the Crewman tier (merging the two, effectively). If you are on the Navigator tier now, it will be renamed and you will basically gain access to all of the STL files. The airship maps will not be here though, to get those you would need to join the full Admiral tier (as described next).

Admiral Tier - Reducing cost from $17.50 to $15. No other changes

The Admiral tier is going down in price by $2.50 to $15 per month. The content remains unchanged (includes everything).

Passenger Tier - New tier starting in September. $1 for 1 miniature (2 STLs)

New this month on Tribes, we have our Passenger tier. Next month you can expect to also see it on Patreon. This tier is for only $1 and it will just be one of our new race or subclass miniatures (we release 2 every month with 2 poses each). This new tier is a way to allow our supporters who can't afford to support us at $10+ every month to still support us and get an awesome STL as well.

A popular circus has flown into town, offering whoever can best their challenges a rare prize, the egg of a crystal flamehawk, a majestic creature said to be descended from phoenixes. A day of games and fun has been arranged to draw a large crowd into the circus, as a way to market their newest show. Every 4 months we release a new loyalty reward. We are quite far behind on these rewards and will be making up time in the next few months with the next ones!

Delver Class Dreadnought Coming in September (8 Month Reward Tier)

Well, we are almost done the MASSIVE ship that is the Delver. It has been a huge undertaking and in hindsight, we shouldn't be doing ships this large for our loyalty rewards. As such, this will be the last massive ship we do for our loyalty rewards. For the 12 month loyalty reward, we will be presenting our supporters with a poll next month on what they would like to see! Moving forward, all loyalty rewards will be chose in this way.

Look for the Delver next month. It will come with its own awesome set of digital maps!

Free to Play Skies Ablaze Tabletop Wargame

We launched our free to play tabletop wargame Skies Ablaze last month! We have had over 500 people sign up to support that project. Our awesome community has been printing and painting miniatures, playing games, and uploading photos for the last month. It's been an awesome response.
