I'm having a bit of a slow week - the walls are being repainted, so there's a fair amount of noise/activity to deal with. But at least two of five commissions are more-or-less ready for inks!
I've also learned when I'll be starting on my next contract - in about a week. I don't know how busy this will keep me, yet. I'll only be doing skin weights, and it sounds like it'll only require about 2-4 hours of work per model. There are a lot of models, though, and my boss says the workload will depend on what I and the rest of the team feel we have time for, and how much money we'd like to make. Given that this is the first significant job in almost 7 months, I may want to crank out as many as I can.
Assuming I'm going to be busy for the rest of the month, there's the question of what to do this week, apart from these commissions. I could draw the next image or two in the "disrobing" sequence, or finally get started on the next comic. There's also still Daisy's rig.
Speaking of the rig, I've made more progress - her neck and head now get rigged, so I think the only major parts left are her feet! And thanks to a small fix last night, the rig is also capable of something that NONE of my previous rigs could do - scale. See, Daisy and Violet are modeled at 1:10th scale, while Rose was modeled 1:1. Mary and the old Daisy model were made at an arbitrary scale. I can't scale Rose or Mary down without breaking their rigs, but now Daisy can be scaled up!
