Time for a serious talk, my gooners
Added 2025-08-21 20:30:17 +0000 UTCAs most of you noticed, I haven’t been posting much AI art this month. Some people didn’t like that — I even lost a few loyal patrons along the way. Funny thing is, it’s not really about time (college + job keep me busy, but I still have plenty of time to post). I just wanted to see what happens if I stop leaning on AI for a bit.
The results were kind of interesting. Yeah, my posts barely hit 100 upvotes now, but I also started enjoying the grind of drawing more. My skills got a little better, and for the first time I actually set a clear goal for myself. That felt encouraging.
At the same time, I can’t ignore what AI gives me. Before, I honestly felt like scum using it. Now I see its value — I could keep posting AI waifus, get my 1k upvotes, maybe one day blow up on Twitter, maybe even make some cash. It’s not evil, it’s just another tool.
