We're thrilled to share with you the latest update to the BeamMP Launcher v2.1.2! Your incredible support helps us keep improving, and this release includes some exciting updates and bug fixes. Hereβs whatβs new:
π Whatβs Changed in v2.1.2?
Better Error Messages: If cleaning the mods folder fails, you'll now receive a helpful error message, making troubleshooting easier. π οΈ
Native Linux Support: Weβve officially added Linux support! You can now enjoy BeamMP on Linux, though youβll need to build it yourself for now. Full releases will follow once weβve added self-updating. π§
Username and Role Sync: The launcher now sends your username and role to the game during authentication for smoother gameplay. π
Performance Improvements: Weβve fine-tuned the launcher for better performance and stability. π
Fixes for HTTP Proxy Crashes: Resolved crashes related to the HTTP proxy, ensuring a smoother experience. π
Mods Warning: A new warning message has been added to remind you about the risks of downloading content online. β οΈ
Additional Command-Line Option: For our advanced users, weβve added a `--skip-ssl-verify` option. π₯οΈ

Rename your old BeamMP-Launcher.exe (not the shortcut) to something else.
Place the new BeamMP-Launcher.exe next to it and run it as usual.
