Dune - Messiah: The long awaited sequel that not only lived up to its expectations and hype, but even surpassed them even.

Jurassic Park: An unexpected entry by Ricky, that didn't conform to his previous works in any given way. An instant bestseller, and an enormous hit with the sci-fi diaspora.

Watchmen: A 12 issue maxi-series, that solidified Ricky's reputation among long time comic book fans. It significantly contributed in advancing comic books as a mature art form, rather than the cartoonish reputation it had retained for decades.

Minority Report: A highly anticipated return to the realm of Sci-Fi for Ricky, it was praised by many critics, but also received a few negative reviews for being 'too cinematic' in its tone and execution. Nevertheless it managed to debut at no. 1 on NY Times Bestseller List, and expecting to sell as many as over a million copies due to the explosive hype generated by Ricky's success in cinema. Universal and Warner Bros nearly entered a bidding war for the film rights, until Ricky decided to adhere to his decisions in the case of his other works, and not sell the rights to anyone, citing his distrust in having his work be adapted faithfully to the big screen by anyone other than himself.
