TVR demo done, and what's next?
Last week I distributed the demo for The Velan Reach to a small group of people that indicated an interest in playing it, to have first look and provide some feedback on the game and the setting.
It was a bit nerve wracking on my part as I've seen a few developers fall flat trying either too hard to do something different with their second title, or not hard enough. Well technically it's my third if you count First Contact, but still.

With the release of chapter 9 now squared away, it's time to quickly glance back, and then look forward.

Overall people seem quite happy with this shorter format and tighter focus, and that's good, because I'm quite happy with it too. It is a lot less hassle to create, because there fewer moving parts involved, both story wise and coding. Chapter 9 - running blog of release tasks
As with the last chapter, I'll keep a running blog of the tasks needed to complete chapter 9. Since this chapter is a lot shorter, these tasks should take a significantly less time than with a big chapter.
