Progress report

Hello everyone, we’d like to share you with ResizeMe’s current development progress.

Since September we’ve mostly been focusing on a shrink route event.

This screenshot is from said event (it’s going to be a leg climbing scene).

Here is a roadmap that sums up what we’ve been working on since August.

Regarding the features listed as “on hold”, we’re still patiently waiting for our team’s health to recover before we can implement them.

That is it for now.

The year is coming to a close and we unfortunately haven't been able to release an update of the game, but we hope you can stick with us for a little longer.

I'm pulling my monthly support until something comes along. It's been nearly 2 months since the last report, and many more months since the last build

aHomester

Both those things also came after months of complaints about slow progress and insufficient communication. In February it will be one year since the last update to the game. A road map helps, a tease of new mechanics helps, but it is only natural that people grow impatient and begin to ask questions after so long since the game updated. Also, a tease of a new mechanic, while nice to see, is different to a full fledged trailer showing off the new engine and scenes, etc, or even just as something to advertise the game and its progress to not only the Patreon backers, but to potential new players as well. On a fundamental level, this game offers something no other game does or can come close to at the moment, so it will always have die-hard backers, including myself, but denying the growing frustrations and questions that backers have helps no one. If I didn't want to see this game come to fruition, I wouldn't have been here as a Patreon backer for the many long years that I have. Ultimately, I think being more transparent with your backers, and pushing out more frequent, granular, smaller updates, will really help alleviate the tensions here. Yes, the updates may not be as polished and perfect and as impactful, but people will at least be able to play and see the results of the project they are backing more freely, and be more confident in backing the project financially over the future.

"But it is a bad feeling to have backed the game for 10 months and not even have a new trailer or anything to look forward to." Why give misinformation like this? We were given a detailed roadmap and a tease on the upcoming leg climbing scene.

Mangoose

I mean, no need for the hostility and anger really in the comments. If things aren't what you want to support, just stop supporting it till something new comes around. It's not that hard folks XD I for one still have faith in the game, but even I myself may swap my support somewhere else for the time being until things pick up some. No need to make it more complicated then it is!

Chris

Very good comment that sums up the situation well. Thank you and you have a good idea with steam. Even though I'm worried. I really hope the situation will improve. And you're right, I'll stop commenting. There's no point in continuing anyway. I wish you a good day

Since you don't seem to understand anything when I talk to you and you even enjoy judging me and twisting my words. I will tell you this. Grow up a little! You do not know me. And in life there are people who will never agree with you. Now since you don't seem to understand things, I'm going to say it more clearly so that you understand. I will be greatly grateful if you could read correctly and think before talking nonsense. Thanks 1) Yes in today's world, many people feel like they are the center of the world and want everything right now. And I have experienced it enough in my job. 2) With the lack of communication and the problems related to the projects, between those mentioned above and the most moderate (of which I am a part, I have never complained since the beginning), there is a good chance that this will impact the project. 3) If I'm leaving this, it's fine because it worries me and I want the game to come out. Otherwise I'll already be gone. 4) I share my concerns because whether you like it or not, I have the right to speak. thank you democracy 5) I saw your comment above. You arrived recently. You haven't known the wait that some have known for 1 years. You who try to empathize with the developers, try a minimum to think of those who were there before you and who, unlike you, still support the game despite everything that is happening. 6) If you can't stand people giving their opinion, I invite you to go to certain countries under dictatorship where everyone must think the same. You'll feel like you're in your element. Now you can still have fun answering again and again if it amuses you, judge me and so on if you need it to exist or try to have the last words like any self-respecting teenager. I have better things to do with my time than talk to a wall. I said what I had to say and repeating myself is useless, even if you don't want to understand anything. bye

As much as I want to have sympathy for the devs--and I do, I really do, it is only natural that closing in on an almost a full year without any update to the game whatsoever, people who have backed the project financially start to wonder and ask questions. Some of the comments on here are needlessly harsh, a bit unfair, and judgemental, but at the same time, I can't entirely blame them. It's much better to have more frequent and seemingly less "meaningful" updates than to leave people wondering and thinking about what is going on. I do not think monthly updates for those who are paying for the continued development is too much to ask--I have quietly supported for 10 months without a complaint. I will probably continue to support forever, because the core game is quite simply my dream and fantasy as close as I will likely ever be able to experience it, but... Another alternate option is to go to Steam Early Access, because there are far less compelling and complete games available on there. If it were at a reasonable price, let's say $15-20, it could rake in a lot of sales to help speed along the rest of development. Another possible option would be to open the game up to modding, so that people in the community could collaborate or give input on things that might also speed up development or simply make the entire process easier. The developers are in a difficult position, but people want something to show for their money. I really, REALLY, *REALLY*, **REALLY**, want to see this game finished one day, I have still never experienced anything quite like it, it is an incredible and spectacular thing... But it is a bad feeling to have backed the game for 10 months and not even have a new trailer or anything to look forward to. I don't think stifling conversations is going to help, backers have a right to express their feelings about the pace of the project and updates-they are financial collaborators in the creation process. I would hope they could be gentle and understanding given the health problems of the developers. I just really want to experience whatever it is they've been working on all this time soon, I can only imagine how much has improved in all that time.

"People have no more education and believe themselves to be the center of the world." So, you're describing yourself...? Just because it's normal to act like this doesn't mean it should be even more normalized and accepted. People need to stand up for others and be open minded understandable human beings. "You can repeat the same excuses to me over and over again but in life, in the world we all live in. " Excuses? It's the truth and facts. You are not happy, then don't support them. They made clear of their situation, and you continued supporting knowing all that. Now you're complaining when you know their communication isn't that frequent. They have had a certain pattern with communication for a whole year or more where it happens every 30-40 days. That's nearly a monthly update. The current wait is nothing out of the ordinary so why would you demand to have more communication with worry about it being abandoned? Maybe if they haven't communicated for more than 60 days, then sure, I would get it but this isn't the case. The huge holidays just finished. To add on to what I've said, It's definitely never bad to communicate more frequently but if the devs want to communicate when there's actual good progression because they just want more meaningful status updates then I'll respect that and wait. I don't think it's that big of a deal. I wouldn't want the devs to be more stress than they currently are just to keep up with frequent updates.

Mangoose

The comparison is good and I'll tell you why. I work in catering and unfortunately most customers who arrive when you are overwhelmed with a full room always find a way to complain that it's not fast enough, etc,... One moment it is necessary to be realistic and to know the reality People have no more education and believe themselves to be the center of the world. All this to say that yes we need more communication from the creators. Like you said at the end. And if I persist in repeating myself again and again, it's good because I want to see the game end one day. You can repeat the same excuses to me over and over again but in life, in the world we all live in. When people invest money in a project. It is normal that they ask for certain guarantees such as good communication. That's how things work and nice words won't change that.

ben

The restaurant comparison isn't even comparable. If you had a situation where the restaurant is very busy and they warn you, a customer multiple times that the wait will be long, that they can't make any GUARANTEEs but they will try their best to deliver. They tell you that they will give updates when the circumstances in the kitchen is better and considerate progress is done and If you, knowing all that continue to wait and then complain. It's completely unreasonable, and you can't blame them for any frustrations you feel because you were warned multiple times. It's on you. You are not forced to support the project if you are not willing to wait. It's that simple. You ask why support a project for an unfinished game with little communication? Because the devs has been clear with the whole entire situation and you understand it but you still want to support them despite that. Because you trust that they will complete the game and you have high faith for them as devs. They have been telling us that they're trying their best to complete the game to satisfy fans and I trust them. If you don't, then that's fine. Like, do you think the devs aren't completely aware that people will stop supporting them because they waited too long? They know their own situation and circumstsances so they have no choice but to accept that. In an ideal world, you want no development issues and for everyone to be happy but that's simply not life. Sometimes you have to make hard choices when you don't want to. But besides all that, one thing I will criticize the devs for is not really replying to people's comments in these Patreon posts. I feel it's disrespectful because it's supporters who are getting ignored and not really getting acknowledged. Feels like they're talking to a wall. I understand that english isn't their main language but using machine translation like DeepL is enough to get a good understanding of the comments and give a response that we could easily understand.

Mangoose

I am fully aware of this but as I said before. Keeping people informed at least once a month is not difficult. With details of the work done this month as well as the difficulties encountered. For example. ''Hello! We are still working on the game. Thank you for your support.'' and 1 to 2 screenshots. Sent. Don't tell me it's hard. now i have a question for you. If you go to a restaurant, you order food and your food doesn't come after more than an hour of waiting. With the restaurant staff who hardly speak to you. And who the rare times he does it tells you '' Sorry, it's complicated '' or '' the cook is tired today '' How do you react? Do you stand there with a big smile waiting without knowing when the dish arrives, without complaining, are you going to leave a tip at the end? Or are you going to leave? The situation is the same here. I've been supporting the project for a while and I'm still here. There may be difficulties. But if the creators continue to communicate so little and the update still does not arrive. Lots of people are going to leave. And that will harm the project. It is an unstoppable logic. And for billing, some people have been there for a long time and have been supporting for a long time. It's normal that they can play the game for free. I've been waiting for 1 year since the last update. Why support a project for an unfinished game with little communication and where you pay to be able to test the (unfinished) game each time? The answer is simple. you don't pay anything and you wait for the release of the game. Do you see the problem? I dare to hope that yes it is quite obvious anyway.

ben

I get it but the devs has been completely open with their situation and circumstances. They communicated well. We know that the transition from Unity 2018 to 2019 made things complicated and delayed development. The devs got ill which also delayed things further. They have a roadmap created and they said they do status updates when they make a considerate amount of progress. It's exactly why the game is still free because the devs don't feel it's right to charge you for it (Even though I do think they should charge people to play it since it has so much content) You should be aware of all this when you put out money supporting them.

Mangoose

They have been very open about their situation and you should know that. When they transitioned to Unity 2019, it broke a lot of things which delayed development, and then the devs got ill which delayed things even further. People who pay monthly should know what to expect and you shouldn't blame the devs when they have been clear.

Mangoose

I understand your point of view but when you have been supporting the project for a long time and the updates no longer come with the creators who communicate less and less. Between 1 to 2 months for a wait. It's normal that this annoys people and makes them lose confidence. Of course it is the month of December. Certainly a game is not easy to make. But at some point, communicating with the people who support you is not complicated. The general idea that many people seem to have is that the game is abandoned. I sincerely hope that is not the case but the more time passes, the more I lose hope. Will I have to wait 3 months for a communication, 1 more years for a game update?

ben

The last game update was 11 months ago.

Johnathan Black

They just had the status update on November 26. December and Early January has big holidays so things are going to be slow as people deserve a break to spend time with family and friends. I expect a status update in late january.

Mangoose

They just had a status update on November 26. December is a busy month with the holidays (Christmas and New Years) where people deserve a break from work. The game has been free and they have mentioned multiple times that the schedule is going to be inconsistent. I'm sure they completely understand that people are waiting very long and they're trying their best.

Mangoose

First of all happy new year. February 1st marks 1 year since the last update was released. 😕 Can you tell us roughly how much longer it will take? I'm starting to get the feeling that nothing is happening anymore🤷‍♂️😅 I would at least be happy about a status of the current status. Become / stay healthy🙂

MARLET97

I'm sorry but I'm getting a bit tired of waiting. We're still paying you monthly with nothing to show for it.

Johnathan Black

Are there any plans on more nsfw additions to the game?

Drew Roselle

I just found out about this game and played it in VR. I immediately fell in love and became a patron because I want to support this project. Please take care of yourselves as health is very important. I really look forward to future updates :)

Mangoose

Would love to see some Pajamas as an option.

Mangoose

Phew, I got worried cuz it's been so long. Get well soon and looking forward to your next update! I really enjoyed the scenes before Makoto got put on the table as the height difference wasn't too drastic. Could you maybe create a "hang out" mode where the player can adjust body size freely and climb and interact with Chieri? Maybe have VR controller touch her hair and boobs too? That way it's not an entire new story arc while everyone can appreciate Chieri at their favorite height.

Sixfeettall

Take your time to recover fully (^w^) We will wait for you. I will also stick by until the end of this amazing game b(^_^)

Wicky

Health is important, though I am worried as they have been sick for a long time. I'm glad to see a roadmap and communication on progress. I'm excited for future updates! 健康は重要です 彼らは長い間病気だったので心配です。 進行中のロードマップとコミュニケーションを見てうれしく思います。 今後のアップデートが楽しみです!

Grayson Jacobs

Health is more important, so take care everyone and go at a regulated pace. ^-^

Vis

大したことありません。いつも通り気長に待っています。

竜司

Happy to support such a passionate project. New outfits and clothes add a lot of replay value to the game, hoping to see some more options.

MarZi

I'm supporting you no matter what ❤️❤️❤️

Jonno

this game is gonna be so good :3 hope there are more vore scenarios with more tongue and maw play and stuff :3 (would love to have her have breakfast and have her eat the player with her food only to fall into her stomach after some tongue play and to have her stomach partly full of food :3

Ponlets

You are doing God's work here. I will stick by until the end
