“Medical vacation”

“The full effect of the pearls on your body will take a very long time to complete.. And probably even longer to disappear ....”

“....hm.. Ugh.. haaahh… ”

“I’ll let Katheryn know about your vacation... “

Mona could only trust herself to Lumine at this point.

For a “vacation home”, Mona can only agree when Lumine offered her home within the teapot dimension…

There is simply no other place that is more convenient and more private, in addition, it is also the most flexible place that can accommodate Mona’s transformed body.

Mona’s selfish request was a small and shallow pond to be her “temporary room”.

The loss of her hands had set more limitations to the activity and mobility that Mona can do… alone with even more physical limitations, she is once again left to study her own body.

Anyone would normally think that the slow adaptation of the body to the physical transformation would be accompanied by pain, but instead, Mona was in constant sexual arousal instead of the expected pain; with no reference or information, she came up with theory that it was her body’s defense mechanism against the pearl’s effects.

Over Mona’s pride or shame, it was the primal instinct of the animal parts in her current body that completely took over and seized control of her physical and mental activities….

It took more than two months for Mona to be finally coherent enough to hold any meaningful conversations. Everytime Lumine visited to feed and check her condition, the mermaid mage would only cry for sexual stimulation.

“Two months huh?” Mona muttered to herself….

“A bit tired, but I finally feel.. normal” she replied.

“Normal?” she thought… no… that wasn’t right;

‘normal’ not because she’s no longer an animal in heat, Mona was feeling ‘normal’ in a body that is biologically closer to a fish than a human.

Within those 2 months, her transformation had subtle progress: the fins all over her body were noticeably larger– pelvic fins, dorsal fins, even her entire lower arm is now a complete fin, any shape of her former hand had completely disappeared.

Mona’s thoughts were on the verge of chaos and panic when it was interrupted by Lumine’s advice.

“At this rate, your recovery could take at least 3 months, and we’re not even sure if you would even have your legs by that time. You could actually just consume the remaining 10 pearls and spend the rest of the year as a mermaid here…”

Saying this, Lumine left Mona to think for herself…

The reassurance from the traveler made it easy for Mona to decide….
